Reza Nadimi was born in 1980 in Tehran. His mother's sister designed clothes and held fashion shows, so he was exposed to fashion from a young age. When he was twelve years old, a fashion magazine came into his hands, which influenced him with the world of fashion, and it was then that he decided to enter this glamorous world. Since the major of fashion design for men did not exist in Iran, he chose the closest field to it, which was industrial design. His thesis was about jewelry, combined and constructed with fabric, which clearly indicates his inclination towards fashion design. His father was an architect, and Reza Nadimi turned to interior design in 2003 upon graduation. It could be said that this is the background of his inspiration from architecture. In 2006, he followed his passion and went to Paris, enrolling in the Bercot Studio fashion school. Two years later, when he returned to Iran, his first collection was menswear, and his initial designs were influenced by the two renowned designers, "Vivienne Westwood" and "Rick Owens," whom he had the opportunity to work alongside through the fashion school. He has designed dozens of clothing collections so far and is currently starting to work on fabric production. He takes advantage of the techniques used for cutting and sewing clothes and applies them to fabrics to transform them into functional art like bedspreads or artistic works like sculptures, each presented as a unique, handmade piece. He tells stories with fabrics, and each collection narrates its own unique tale.
