The topics of the meeting went like this: the constant confrontation of technique and art. Investigating the unique potential of textile art in Kashan. Emphasis on the contemporary art of fabric and fibers on de-utilization of fabric. Honoring local and rural artists and producers. Why should Iran's authentic and noble traditional weaves try to get more credit in a wrong stream to get the ART title? The answer to this question was sought in the currents governing the finances of galleries and auctions.
