This is not a Jewel

This collection seeks to question and challenge the established and customary nature of jewelry. Large necklaces, by changing size and approaching the size of a sculpture, lack the practical nature of jewelry; their embodiment is due to their continuation of the body. They either extend it or go beyond it. They strip away the burden of being wearable from the concept of jewelry. These objects are trying to attract the common Iranian spirit with a two-way approach, using the reflection of colored lights that is tangible and familiar to all of us, and to place us in this question/challenge: which one can be considered jewelry? The temporary and immaterial effect of colorful lights on the body? Or the reflective object itself? Or both?
